Youth Group
Grades 5-12 youth meet as part of the Youth Group on Sunday evenings twice every month for Bible lessons, life lessons, mission activities, and fun group building activities. Kathy Watson, and Elder in the church, serves as the Youth Group Director.
Discipleship Class
This group of older youth, 8-12 grade, meet twice a month with Kathy for conversations on real issues that youth deal with and how faith in Jesus Christ helps them navigate through the difficult adolescent years.
Mission Trip
A highlight of the youth ministry is their summer mission trip. Recent locations have included: Ervin, KY; Lexington, KY; Atlanta, GA; Washington D.C.; New Orleans, LA; and Pittsburgh, PA. The mission trip includes many ministries: fellowship, prayer, worship, community service, and a chance to go and see God’s amazing creation.
